About CFX Works
CFXWorks was founded as a Georgia corporation in 1993 by Al Nickles. Al managed IBM’s first commercial UNIX laboratory and was the inventor of IBM’s MQSeries. He specializes in developing cryptography and secure messaging solutions including for example: payment card gateways, single-sign-on (SSO) solutions, fraud protection solutions, and secure messaging solutions for government agencies.
CFXWorks’ current payment card gateways support Elavon and Authorize.Net. In particular they appeal to larger merchants wanting to reduce their processing fees by cutting out the middlemen. CFXWorks has also integrated Subuno’s fraud protection capabilities into our CreditCardXpress offering. The integration of Subuno’s capabilities into CreditCardXpress provides users with an automated, rule based, cost effective, fraud protection solution without requiring additional programming from the using organization.
CFXWorks cryptography solutions appeal to organizations wanting an encryption/message digest solution that has been validated to be implemented consistent with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) standards. Validation to the NIST standard enables one to encrypt data on one platform and be confident that this data can be decrypt it on another platform.
CFXWorks’ solutions have been verified to run on many platforms including Windows, Linux, UNIX, IBM xSeries, iSeries and zSeries.
